Have you checked CAC website to know if your business is still active?
For your business to be indicated as ‘active’ on the CAC website, you must have filed your annual returns with the Commission up till date.
Annual return is a mandatory requirement every registered entity in Nigeria must file be it a business name, company or an NGO.
Failure to file would make the Corporate affairs commission assume that your business is dormant thereby your status will be inactive on the CAC online portal.
This attracts a lot of penalties and CAC could end up delisting your business.
