A prospective client just called to ask me if his 10 year old can be a director in his company.
Let’s get this clearly; before one can be appointed as a director of a Nigerian, he/she must be according to the Companies and Allied Matter Act {CAMA} eligible for the position.
CAMA provides that an infant is disqualified from being appointed as a director in a Nigerian company.
Who is an infant ? An infant is a person under the age of 18.
Now that you know the position of the law concerning this, you can make an informed decision.
