Drones used to be only for aerospace experts, but now they’re in the hands of private individuals for purposes like aerial photography and surveillance.
This raises the question about the legality of individuals flying drones in Nigeria. So, is it even legal? 
Well, you can legally fly a drone in Nigeria provided you get special permission from the NCAA (that’s the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority) and the ONSA to fly a drone in Nigeria. 
So, yes, you can do it legally, but you have to follow all the rules from the NCAA. They’re the ones in charge of drones in Nigeria, and they have laid down rules you have to follow before you can fly a drone.
